Veteran Bollywood actor Anupam Kher shared a heartfelt birthday wish for Hollywood legend Robert De Niro, who turned 82 on Sunday.
Kher, who has often spoken about his admiration for De Niro, called him the “God of Acting” and said he feels lucky to know him as a friend.

Taking to social media, the actor posted a couple of pictures with De Niro and wrote a touching note. “Happy Birthday Mr. Robert De Niro! May God bless you with all the happiness in the world. You have inspired millions of actors, including me, with your hard work and brilliance,” Kher expressed.

He further added that De Niro represents acting in its purest form. “The easiest way to describe you is to call you the God of Acting. I feel honoured, humbled and privileged to know you as a friend. Wishing you a long, healthy life filled with love and happiness,” Kher wrote.

The film ‘Tanvi The Great’, directed by Kher, stars Shubhangi Dutt in the lead role, alongside an ensemble cast including Iain Glen, Boman Irani, Jackie Shroff, Arvind Swami, Pallavi Joshi, Karan Tacker, and Nassar. The movie was released in theatres on July 18 and has been drawing attention for its emotional storytelling and strong performances.
